Where is High Noon Saloon located?

We are located at 701 E. Washington Ave., seven blocks east of the Capitol, in a big red brick building on the corner of Blount Street and E. Washington Ave.  Our entrance is in the back of the building, at the far end of the parking lot.

What are your bar hours?

We typically open for drink service at 4PM on weekdays. Our weekend hours vary depending what shows we have that day.  If we have an early show on our calendar on Saturday or Sunday, we will usually open an hour before that show starts.  Note that often national touring bands request a “closed soundcheck” which means we will have to clear the room at that time.  You are still welcome to have drinks on our patio at this time.

Can I bring my kids to an age-restricted show?

If the show is 18+ or 21+, minors are allowed to attend the show (no matter what age) with their parent or legal guardians. Minors will need a ticket for entry.

How can I buy tickets for your shows?

Advance tickets are available online through our website, using our ticketing partner TicketWeb or by calling 877-987-6487.  You can buy service fee-free tickets from The Sylvee box office during their daily box office hours.

Where can I buy tickets without fees?

You can buy tickets without service fees for High Noon Saloon shows at The Sylvee box office during their daily box office hours: Monday-Thursday from 12PM-3PM, Fridays from 10AM-3PM, Saturdays from 12 PM-3PM and on all Sylvee show days from 12PM through showtime.

The Sylvee is located in Madison at 25 S. Livingston Street, a block east of High Noon Saloon.

I have my tickets at Will Call. Where is Will Call?

Will Call is simply a list at the door. The ticket purchaser just needs to show their photo ID at the door and you’re set for entry.

How does seating work at High Noon?

All of our shows are general admission.  If we are expecting a show to sell out, we will remove most of the seating from the main floor, and will only have chairs available in the balcony, so if having a seat is important to you, please plan to arrive at the venue when doors open for the show.  If we are advertising a “seated show”, that means we will have tables and chairs on the main floor all the way up to the stage- but again, these seats are first come, first served, so there is no guarantee that you will get a seat.  If you have a disability or injury and require a seat, please contact our Security Manager at matthew@high-noon.com in advance so we can be ready to accommodate you.

Is High Noon Saloon handicapped accessible?

Yes.  If you need special assistance, please contact our Security Manager at matthew@high-noon.com.

Do you serve food?

We do not serve food, however The Brass Ring is right next which has a full menu.  You’re more than welcome to carry in food from Brass Ring or any of our neighborhood restaurants.

Where should I park?

There are plenty of free parking options in the vicinity of High Noon Saloon.  We have a small lot behind our building with the entrance on Blount Street as well as a lot across the street next to the Hallman-Lindsay Paint building. There is also free street parking on all side streets in the area (2 hour limit before 6PM, no limit after 6PM and on weekends).

What time do doors open for your shows?

As a general rule, doors officially open for the show one hour before the advertised show time.  Occasionally an artist will need extra time for set-up and sound check, and this could briefly delay the time we open the doors.

Can you tell me set times?

It says on your website that the show I want to see is sold out.  How can I get tickets?

Unfortunately, when a show sells out in advance there are no tickets left at all.  We always highly recommend getting tickets in advance either on our website to avoid being shut-out of a show you want to see.

Do you sell gift cards? What can I use them on?

Yes! You can purchase gift cards in person at our box office during their business hours or on our website on the Store tab.

Gift cards are redeemable in person at the box office for concert tickets to shows at all of our venues in town – The Sylvee, Majestic Theatre, and High Noon Saloon. You can also use them for beverages and venue merch at the show. Check your gift card balance HERE.

Is there an age restriction for your shows?

A majority of our shows are 18+, although occasionally a show is restricted to 21+.   Minors are welcome to attend any of our shows, no matter the age limit, when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Do you allow cameras at your shows?

The venue allows cameras and video, but sometimes national acts that play here do not allow them.  Before bringing a large and expensive camera that you may need to leave in your car, please contact the venue to find out what is allowed that night.  As a general rule, most bands are OK with non-professional cameras.

Do you allow smoking in the venue?

No.  It is illegal to smoke in a bar in Madison, WI.  This also includes e-cigs and vaping.  We do have an outdoor patio available for smokers.

If I am at the bar having a drink before you start charging a cover, do I get to stay and watch the show for free?

No.  The cover charge we collect is paid to the bands for entertaining you, and it is only right that you pay the artists for their show.  We welcome you to come in for happy hour or before a show starts, but if you decide to stay to see the band, we’ll expect you to pay the cover charge.  Note that often national shows have a “closed soundcheck” which means we have to clear the room at this time.

If I pay to see the early show, can I stay to see the late show for free?

No.  The cover charge for the early show goes to the bands that played the early show, and the cover charge for the late show belongs to the bands that are playing the late show.  Think of it this way- if you go to see a movie in a theater, you can’t stay to see another movie without paying again…

I just want to have a drink on your outdoor patio.  Do I have to pay the cover charge?

Patrons are always welcome to come for drinks on our patio without paying for the show that is going on inside.  We offer cocktail service during our free patio shows during the summer.  If you happen to arrive at a time when there is no server, you are welcome to come inside and get a drink at the bar to enjoy on the patio.

Do you have a lost and found?

Yes.  If you have lost something at a show, please call or stop down to claim it as soon as possible.  We find LOTS of lost items that are never claimed, and therefore donate things to St. Vinnie’s monthly.  Please remember that we are not responsible for items lost or stolen at High Noon Saloon.

Is there an ATM available at High Noon?

Do you rent out for private events?

Yes.  We host all kinds of private events, from wedding receptions, to award ceremonies, to corporate parties, and just about anything else you can think of.  Please see the Private Events page of our website for more information.
