Loving Cup is a Madison-based Rolling Stones Tribute band. The 8-piece group, complete with horn section, represents some of Madison’s best known musical talent, including members from VO5, Swamp Thing, Lynda & The Zeros, The Periodicals, and The Ramble. The group prides itself on faithfully recreating the Stones tracks, which has put them on stages at AtwoodFest, Waterfront Fest, etc. Simply stated, regardless of your knowledge of the Stones…this band will blow you away.

In 1972, the Rolling Stones released the 18-song, double-album, Exile On Main St. That makes 2022 the 50th anniversary of the album. Exile contains frequently performed concert staples and was a number one charting album in six countries. It spawned hit songs like “Happy,” the country music ballad “Sweet Virginia,” and worldwide top-ten hit “Tumbling Dice.” The album is viewed by many critics as the Rolling Stones’ best work. In 2020, Rolling Stone magazine listed the album at #14 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time (the highest ranked Stones album). In 2012, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Exile On Main St, Loving Cup will play the album in its entirety, front to back, followed by a set of hits and hidden gems. Whether you’re a mega fan or need to rediscover the Rolling Stones, this is a show not to be missed.
