The North Code
The North Code is a Madison five-piece band consisting of Josh Pankratz, Adam Prinsen, Craig Hoffmann, Ben Strohbeen, and Rin Ribble.  They are the recent winners of the Overture Center’s Rising Stars Competition and they're dropping their debut album, tonight! The Isthmus has described their sound as "somewhere between indie folk and pop Americana," and others have compared them to bands like The Lumineers, The Avett Brothers, and The Head and The Heart.  No matter which genre you put them in, their original songwriting filled with driving guitar rhythms, compelling instrumentation, and tight harmonies is sure to please any crowd.

Kerosene Kites
When two of Madison, Wisconsin's most prolific and driven songwriters combine forces, anything can happen. After years of co-writing sessions, festival planning, and overall "big idea" cultivating, Beth Kille (of the Beth Kille Band and Gin,Chocolate & Bottle Rockets) and Erik Kjelland (of The Mascot Theory) perform as a duo under the pseudonym "Kerosene Kites." Since these highly decorated writers, and co-founders of Flannel Fest, began co-writing in the fall of 2013 they've released 3 albums, most recently their ambitious full-length Americana-Folk-Rock record, "Float Away" (November of 2017). Fans of male-female fronted acts such as Civil Wars and Lady Antebellum will dig the Kerosene Kites' style.

Old Soul Society -
