Known for a theatrical style of introspective indie rock, Foxing brought together active members of the St. Louis, Missouri music scene in the early 2010s. With backgrounds that included post-rock, emo, and math rock bands, they expanded upon guitar -oriented fare with orchestral instruments beginning with their full-length debut, 2013's The Albatross.

Formed  in Blaine, Minnesota in the mid-2000s and based in Minneapolis, indie rock band Now, Now pair acoustic guitar synths, and fuzzy, '90s alt-rock-inspired sounds with fiery Midwestern emo-pop. The group's early material was ruminative, anxious, and dusky, with 2018's Saved crystalizing their sound into something more emotionally tangible and sonically succinct.
