Wood Chickens
Wood Chickens
Wood Chickens, based in Madison, Wisconsin, serve a spicy, extra caffeinated blend that draws from country-western, psychedelia and punk from across the decades. Formed in the tiny town of Milton, Wisconsin by high school comrades Alex Reilly and Griffin Pett, the band moved to Madison to escape the monotony of life in the small farming community. They were later joined on drums by Justin J. Johnson and the trio was born. To date, Wood Chickens have released several albums worth of material on their own and through many indie labels across the United States. With Big Neck Records, the prolific trio shows no signs of slowing down as they release their 2nd full length LP, ‘Well Done!’ and embark on the road again and again with their fresh, energetic and eclectic musical style. Their unique twist of genres, past and present, leaves their audiences wondering what will come next.
Absolutely Not
Absolutely Not
Absolutely Not is a clever mix post-punk, glam rock, and sci-fi/horror soundtracks. Jam packed with humor and heavy political vibes, these songs are RIPPERS! Get into it!

“Errors is spastic and ridiculously fun debut full-length. This is a punk record dialed into an alien frequency with a heavy production that makes the spare instrumentation (guitar, keyboards, drums) sound like a spaceship crashing into Earth.” – NPR
The Central
The Central
The Central is an Experimental Grind project founded in late 2010 by guitar/vocalist Frankie Furillo and drummer Alex Roberts. The band is heavily inspired by a wide variety of genres such as classical Indian music, soul, classic pop, jazz, country, punk and extreme metal. This results in The Central's eclectic and often unidentifiable sound that leaves live show attendees in awe. As of 2018, the group has released 3 full-length albums and a handful of extended plays that have gained national attention; The Central's Discovery Of A Rat (2016) received notable praise in local hardcore circles, being included on WSUM, Heavy Blog Is Heavy, Tone Madison, and Mathcore Index's top albums of the year lists
