Host Band: Ifdakar
Host Band: Ifdakar
Ifdakar's pursuit of musical growth and experimental improvisation create an experience not to be forgotten. Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, this quartet has garnered recognition for their live performances, where the band channels elements of psychedelic rock, funk, jazz, and electronica. The result is a mind bending, dance infused, pedal to the metal sound that it is unmistakably their own.

From songs that are tragic, to songs that transcend, Ifdakar showcases an array of improvisational jamming and elaborately structured pieces that are steeped in influences such as Phish, Pink Floyd, Les Claypool, Lotus, STS9 and many others. This spectrum allows for dense musical freedom, to tension-and-release madness.

While relentlessly working on every aspect of the band, Ifdakar has been fortunate enough to open for such scene luminaries as Primus, Umphrey's McGee, Yonder Mountain String Band, Ozric Tentacles, Eoto, Big Gigantic, Melvin Seals of JGB, Robbie Krieger (the Doors), Keller Williams, That One Guy, Xavier Rudd, Prophet Massive, The Werks, Conspirator, Griz, Wookiefoot, All Mighty Senators, Zoogma, Family Groove Company, Kim Manning of the P. Funk All-Stars, Steve Molitz of Particle, the Heavy Pets, The Big Wu, Roster McCabe, the Coop, The Floozies, and many others!
As Ifdakar continues to climb the ranks of the Midwest scene, their popularity has started to snowball. Reaching capacity at marquee club shows regularly, the band has begun to make the jump to theaters, picking up numerous new fans along the way.

2011 saw the band host their own festival, IfdaKamp in Kiel, WI, to great success. IfdaKamp 2012 is scheduled for the 3rd weekend of June, and is certain to be even bigger and better.

Ifdakar has found the right formula; band members who refuse to give up, cutting edge original material that begs to be played live, and devoted, dance thirsty fans who are convinced that this band has what it takes. Ifdakar is ready for anything and looks poised to take things to the next level. Their reputation continues to grow positively after each performance. From the intimate audience connections that stir, to the dark and spacey jams that take hold, Ifdakar is about musical dialogue between each other, and their growing audience.
Coyote
Coyote
Coyote is a four piece rock 'n' roll band out of southern Wisconsin. After playing music together for over 5 years, Isaac Young, Andy Goitia, and Ed Kosmatka formed Coyote in the summer of 2016 as an evolution of their old project. In September, Mikey Juszcyk joined the band on bass and was an instant fit. The winter of 2016 has Coyote focusing on the final stages of their debut LP 'Fool's Gold' while also touring their Wisconsin stomping grounds and surrounding Midwestern states. Their sound is a nostalgic and organic blend of rock, americana, funk, and jazz, bringing a truly unique experience to every show.
Armchair Boogie
Armchair Boogie
Armchair Boogie formed in the heart of Wisconsin in 2014 as a banjo and guitar duo. After playing a handful of shows, Augie Dougherty (banjo) and Ben Majeska (guitar) recruited a well versed rhythm section to hold down the upbeat tempos and provide an extra oomph that’ll bring even the saddest uncle to a dance floor. This happened in October 2015; and in the few short years since, they've toured consistently around the midwest, played with top notch artists such as Jeff Austin Band and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, and played venues as big as The Majestic Theater in Madison. The sound has a newgrass feel that's not afraid to delve into realms like funk or country. Keep an eye out for the first full length Armchair Boogie album being released 2017, and don't miss them on the road year round!
Undercover Organism
Undercover Organism
Blending electronic loops and sounds with a live band in a unique live performance, Undercover Organism creates a sound that some may call jamtronica or live electronic music. With influences in jam, funk, jazz, hip-hop, and many different types of electronic music, UO strives on exciting the crowd with sounds they don't normally here from a live band. UO has played in many regional festivals catering to many different styles including; Summerfest, Project Earth, Cosmic Railroad Family Gathering, Ifdakamp, Choose Your Own Raventure, as well as local street festivals. Still playing mostly around the state of Wisconsin, UO has set its sites on a much bigger picture, to share their musical experience with the rest of the country.

Undercover Organism started off as a simple idea and revelation coagulated at Rothbury Music Festival, guitarists Josh and Hutch raised and nourished the thought. Undercover Organism began striving on improvised jams with dynamic rhythms and crescendos. Its sound began ranging from ambient trance to dance heavy electro rock. Having formed in 2009, their fan base has supported them in being recognized as a band that experiments with a new electronic jam sound unlike anything the area has ever offered, yet resonates with exactly what people are looking for in live music. Mixing live electronics with the four piece live band, Undercover Organism has shown that it is capable of turning any place they play into a rockin' dance party. Funk, jazz, rock, dubstep, dance, electronica, none of it is out of the question. Many sets are purely improvised with ever changing sounds, instruments, and musicians. Undercover Organism is constantly evolving and always finding new ways to keep the crowd moving. Engulf yourself in the electric sound waves of Undercover Organism.
