People Fest Winter Dance Party
People Fest Winter Dance Party
We are kicking off the night right away, People Fest style, with an early People Brothers Band performance starting at 9pm! We could call it a People Fest & Bonfire Pre-Party of sorts. We invited our two favorite dance bands (and festival favorites) to bring it after us and keep the party going until bar close. You'll be able to grab your Driftless Music Gardens tickets to Bonfire and/or People Fest at this show on discount before the prices go up.

Long standing People Fest favorite, Apollo Cobra from Minneapolis, will close down the evening and Sun Stereo will be performing right after PBB for a night you won't soon forget. All three bands know how to bring the dance party like no other. You won't want to miss this one.
Apollo Cobra
Apollo Cobra
Apollo Cobra is an electronic based 3 piece dance band that brings it like nobody else.
Sun Stereo
Sun Stereo
Sun Stereo delivers a hybridization of organic and electronic elements with Beatlesque vocal harmonies, electronic soundscapes, nu-age story book lyrics, and a funk your face off horn section. In the last 6 years, they have developed a fierce following and have established themselves as a must see live show, reminiscent of a wedding reception on acid sans the chicken dance. They have performed at numerous festivals, including Mumford & Sons Gentlemen of the Road Tours in Ohio, Illinois, and Iowa, Summer Camp Music Festival, North Coast Music Festival, The Taste of Randolph Street, SOHO Music Festival, Illiac Music Festival, Pygmalion Festival, Merchant Street Music Festival, The Dixon Petunia Festival, Urbana Sweetcorn Festival, and Taste of Champaign. They have shared the stage with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, EOTO, Keller Williams, The Wood Brothers, The Apache Relay, Here Come the Mummies, Digital Tape Machine, Mike Dillon Band, Those Darlins, The Main Squeeze, This Must Be the Band, UV Hippo, J.C. and the Uptown Sound and Henhouse Prowlers. They just released the new Give It All Away EP, with a full length album scheduled for release in the Fall of 2018.

Their eclectic blend of original grooves, conscious lyrics, soulfully mastered vocal and instrumental work, along with diverse self-tailored covers, holds the crowd on the dance floor and keeps them begging for more. From funk to soul, rock to reggae, folk to R & B, they’re guaranteed keep the audience on their feet.
