Josh Harty (Album Release)
Josh Harty (Album Release)
Touring across continents, Josh Harty's unique blend of American music has become a must-hear for those who keep the tradition of country, blues and folk close to their hearts. Born and raised on the plains of North Dakota, Josh has continued the old family tradition of playing guitar. His father, both a preacher, and the Police Chief of their small town, was also Harty's music mentor.

“An honest voice and fingers that seem to catch fire!” -Atlanta Music Guide

“There is a dignity to this music making that leaves us feeling enriched for the experience. . . “
-No Depression

In the past decade Josh has put out three critically acclaimed albums, while touring continuously across Europe and North America, and shows no signs of slowing down. More than just moving along, he's spending plenty of time in the communities along the way, from Brooklyn to Haarlem, from London to Portland. Josh is always looking for that balance between the rolling road and the people who inspire him, trading stories around kitchen tables and theatre stages. Harty’s live shows prove that good story telling combined with journeyman musicianship is as American as music gets.

Christopher Paul Stelling
Christopher Paul Stelling is not alone in taking the stage with just an old guitar and the stomp of his foot. What sets him apart is an imagination that is completely his own, yielding stories that feel like parables that you slowly realize have never before been told.

His imagination also lives in his fingertips as he traverses from country blues to flamenco to claw hammer banjo all on his trusted "Brownie," an old nylon string guitar that's been traveling the globe with him for years. He has no rule book. He sees no limitations. He is an anthology of his influences and he is the first one of his kind.

When you see him perform, you know you are watching a true artist moving forward with intensity, focus, and direction. One who wants to take you along for the ride but you must trust him and go where he wants to go because nothing can change the course. As we await the release of his third record, Labor Against Waste (out June 16 via ANTI- Records), please introduce yourself to Christopher Paul Stelling.

Raised between very urban(Austin, TX) and very rural(NW Arkansas) settings, with a seemingly limitless spectrum of musical and cultural influence, my music varies greatly across the board...everything from adolescent punk, gypsy rock, hip-hop, and grungy angst to classical, folk, rock, jazz, and songwriters' sentiments. A self-taught musician, I rely primarily on my ear and intuition for musical direction and composition Currently residing in Madison, WI, and am more recently focused on my solo material, Though I love any supportive role in bands, regarding drums, bass, or guitar and backing vocals.
