Ceiba Tropical Funkraiser
We are trying to raise money right now to for urgent forest restoration and reforestation in coastal Ecuador where less than 5% of the virgin forest remains. We are working with local landowners to give them incentives not to cut forest and to replant trees, intermixed with crops like coffee and cacao from which they can derive some income at the same time as protecting native species.
VO5
VO5
VO5 has been playing packed houses and festivals for the last 5 years. Some of our higher profile gigs include the Wisconsin Film Festival (2006 & 2009), the Wisconsin Union Terrace (3000+ audience), Overture Center (opening for Abbamania), Atwood Summer Fest, and many large outdoor festivals around Wisconsin.

V05 represents the hopes and aspirations of all Americans. We believe that dancing should be an essential part of everyone's revolution and that when we're in charge, mandatory wig policies will be strictly enforced. We believe in peace and justice and the American way, especially if it involves platform heels and lots of glitter. Our repertoire includes everything from Sly and the Family Stone to the Love Boat theme.

The band includes 2 famous playrights, a brave firefighter, a solar-power broker, a wind-power engineer, a best-selling birdwatcher, a wise doctor, and a highly celebrated actress.

WINNER, "Best Cover Band". Madison Area Music Awards 2009
Tani Diakite and the Afro-Funkstars
Tani Diakite and the Afro-Funkstars
Tani is a musical force who has inspired an entire community of artists. With his Kamale n'goni, a West African ancestor to the banjo, and his plaintive singing, he never fails to drop the deepest blues around.
