Generally considerd hardcore or metal, The Killer Dolphin With Rabies, also add elements of jazz, fusion, rock, and psychedelic music to their mix. “The Killer Dolphin With Rabies has managed to blend a number of genres in a way that attracts fans of jazz as well as metal, prog, and math rock.” (Jessica Steinhoff of The Daily Page) Poney plays music that moves. They are influenced by the unnamed spaces between genres, those points of transition where you don't have a word for the music. Metal, rock, punk, prog, and alternative, are considers as shackles to Poney. “Helliphant plays classic heavy metal and vintage psychedelic rock 'n' roll with a fiendish, devlish charm anchored by aggressive hooks, searing solos and lyrical hilarity. The possessed souls that concocted this creepy potion of pain and putrescence have been haunting the region for years in bands like Uncle Eddie, echo-static, Plastic, Way off the Horse and the Skintones.” (CD Baby) “The Suit have made quite a dent in the Madison club scene with a rumbling, chaotic, ornery and utterly tongue-in-cheek sound inspired by the psycho-noise-rock of the God Bullies, the industrial-strength space-rock of Helios Creed, the mind-altering miasma of daytime television.… And their live shows are a fierce and fun hour or so of low-end mayhem.” (Al Ritchie of the Isthumus)
